Hello, my name is Diana and I am from Bulgaria. I grew up in Sofia, the capital, but nowadays we live in the countryside with my husband and two beautiful children – a girl and a boy.

My background is in writing (journalist, script writer) and I have worked as a social worker and a tour manager.

Soon after I gave birth to our second child, I discovered my body had changed: I had bulges in my vagina and occasional leakage of urine. I was terrified. I was looking for answers what was happening to me. So, the day came when a very well-meaning gynecologist told me: “We’ll wait until your prolapse gets much worse, and the urinary incontinence becomes impossible to bear, and then, we’ll do a surgery.”  These words frightened me, but they also activated me to take actions.

“Why is all this happening to me?”- I was asking myself. May be if I could help myself, I could be able to help also others.

And there was Christine and her book “Saving the Whole Woman”. The first step was to accept I have a prolapse, the second step – to understand how to manage it. In 2021 I was accepted in the Whole Woman Practitioner training. The program provided us (the trainees) with knowledge, I have long looked for.

Things started becoming clearer – what was happening in my body and why, urinary incontinence stopped being an issue, and I could observe the dynamics of my organs.

Every woman has the right to know how her body works.

A prolapse is often a manageable condition, the pelvic organs are mobile and the body responds no matter the age.

A prolapsing front vaginal wall actually is the bladder pushing into the front vagina wall and creating a bulge in there.

A prolapsing back vaginal wall is the rectum pushing into the back vaginal wall and creating a bulge there.

My pelvic health is in my own hands. Your pelvic health is in your hands.

I will be happy to guide you in this process of learning the dynamics of your beautiful and smart body. It is all about returning to Natural posture and Natural breathing, something your body knows, but has forgotten. The exercises will help you maintain the posture and are tools to manage your symptoms for a life time.

Empowered with knowledge how our body works, we women can deal with our prolapse, incontinence, chronic hip and knee pain.

I am certified Whole Woman practitioner (from 2021). I work with women in Strelcha, Sofia, and online.

I am fluent in Bulgarian, English and Dutch.
